Heat Detector
Heat Detectors have a common profile with optical smoke detectors but has a low air flow resistance case made of self-extinguishing white polycarbonate. The device monitors heat by using a single thermistor network which provides a voltage output proportional to the external air temperature.
- Standard Heat Detectors operate over the range 0ºC to 66ºC.
- Ideal for environments that are dirty or smoky under normal conditions.
- Well suited for warehouses, loading docks and parking garages.
- Unaffected by wind or atmospheric pressure.
- Remote test feature.
