Intelligent 50 Watt Amplifier
GENERAL
The TR-50W (red cabinet) is intelligent 50 watt amplifiers for use with the TR-2100ECSR /TR-2100ECSB. The TR-50W is used to amplify the audio message for distribution throughout the facility. Since it is designed as a self-contained distributed amplifier it can be conveniently located near the area of protection to reduce wiring demands. The TR-50W is capable of producing 50-watts of audio power. Up to eight TR-50W’s can be used on the voice evacuation system. The TR-50W has its own power supply with battery backup and four speaker circuits which can be expanded to eight speaker circuits with the optional TR-CE4. The TR-50W is fully supervised by the main panel for trouble conditions.
COMPATIBILITY
The TR-50W is compatible with the following Triga Series voice evacuation components: R-2100ECSR /TR-2100ECSB.
• SBUS addressable, up to eight TR-50Ws per system for a total of 400 watts.
• Each TR-50W is supervised and has four onboard audio circuits expandable to eight with the TR-CE4 for a system total of 64 audio circuits.
• TR-50W uses an easy to install wire harness to connect the TR-CE4 audio circuit expander.
• Can be mounted up to 6000 feet away from Triga-Series panel.
• The TR-50W has it’s own power supply and backup battery.
• Selectable for 25V or 70.7V operation.
• Six-wire connection to ECS system: Two-wires for the voice bus and four-wires for the SBUS connections.
• UL 864 and UL 2572.
• Available in a red or black cabinet.
• The TR-50W can be surface or flush mounted.
• 120 VAC or 240 VAC operation.
• Distributed between up to 128 audio circuits.
